Ruby graduated from Bond University with a Bachelor of Laws in 2017, and shortly thereafter began to travel and live overseas. Upon her return to Australia in 2019, Ruby completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Training and was admitted to practice in Queensland.
Since her admission, Ruby has practised exclusively in the areas of family law, domestic violence, and child protection, including international aspects of family law under the Hauge Convention and Trans-Tasman Proceedings.
Ruby has developed a pragmatic approach to her matters with a particular emphasis on resolving matters at the earliest juncture through mediation, family dispute resolution or conciliation conferences. When litigation is unavoidable, Ruby aims to guide her clients through the process as swiftly and stress free as possible and is experienced as both an advocate and instructing solicitor.
Ruby is committed to providing her clients with personalised advice, strong representation, and effective solutions that protect their interests and achieve a positive and cost-effective outcome. Ruby is currently completing a Masters of Applied Family Law through the College of Law and is expected to graduate in 2024.
